Como sempre oriento, eclipse não é auspicioso, portanto cubram as cabeças, não olhem eclipses e façam orações. Isso não é superstição, é explicado nos Vedas.
Srila Gurudeva Swami Vana Maharaja explica que se o eclipse for parcial em algum país, DEVE SER SEGUIDAS AS REGRAS ABAIXO SOBRE ECLIPSE.
Explicação para quem não é vaishnava: o termo védico " Observar Eclipse " em sânscrito, inglês significa "seguir as regras de eclipses"! Esse termo " observar " não é "olhar os eclipses"!
Muito ao contrário! Portanto, uma das orientações para se seguir durante eclipses é NUNCA OLHAR E ACOMPANHAR ECLIPSES, que sempre são inauspiciosos e seus efeitos específicos sempre perduram por 6 meses, segundo Astrologia Védica.

" Como Srila Gurudeva e as Escrituras explicam, eclipses são momentos muito inauspiciosos por causa da influência de Rahu e Ketu, planetas maléficos (demônios).
Então, para ficar livre da influência da atividade pecaminosa no momento inauspiciouso do eclipse (caso ele seja visível onde você vive) devem-se observar certas regras:
- não dormir durante o eclipse;
- não comer, não beber durante o eclipse;
- não ir ao banheiro nem tomar banho durante o eclipse;
- não olhar para o eclipse e tentar ficar em área coberta;
- não se deve cozinhar na hora do eclipse e nem comer;
- qualquer água parada (ex: garrafinha de água ou galão de água) ficam contaminados com o eclipse, mas isso pode ser cancelado caso vc coloque uma folha de Tulasi nessa água;
- não se deve fazer nada no momento do eclipse exceto Sravan e Kirtan dos Santos Nomes e glórias do Senhor, em especial canto congregacional dos Santos Nomes em voz alta.
Hoje o eclipse solar não será visível no Brasil, então não é necessário seguir as "regras de observar eclipse" (observar regulamentos), mas de qualquer forma é considerado um momento inauspicioso.
Na noite do Nrsimha Chaturdashi (15 para 16 de maio) haverá um eclipse lunar totalmente visível no Brasil, de 22h às 4h, sendo recomendado que observemos as regras de cantar os santos nomes e não dormir na hora do eclipse." [Veja imagem a seguir]

"As Srila Gurudeva and the Scriptures explain, eclipses are very inauspicious times because of the influence of Rahu and Ketu, malefic planets (demons).
So, to be free from the influence of sinful activity at the inauspicious moment of the eclipse (if it is visible where you live) certain rules must be observed:
- do not sleep during the eclipse;
- do not eat, do not drink during the eclipse;
- do not go to the bathroom or shower during the eclipse;

- you should not cook at the time of the eclipse or eat;
- any standing water (eg water bottle or gallon of water) is contaminated with the eclipse, but this can be canceled if you put a Tulasi leaf in that water;
- nothing should be done at the time of the eclipse except Sravan and Kirtan of the Holy Names and glories of the Lord, especially congregational chanting of the Holy Names aloud.
